‘Twas the Wednesday before Thanksgiving

I enjoyed sleeping in this morning. After a lazy start to the day we ran a couple errands to Lowe’s and Fred Meyer. Had to get some salt for our water softener and found a new print for our bedroom & some fun Christmas friends in addition to the salt. We also found cute ornaments to give to the hosts of our two Thanksgiving celebrations this week.

The afternoon was spent watching the end of the series Eureka while I made gluten-free zucchini bread and pumpkin cake for our celebrations this week. As we were watching Eureka the snow began to fall – looks like we’ll be enjoying a white Thanksgiving. We also had a The Santa Clause movie marathon – one of our favorite holiday movies.

For supper I’m making honey mustard chicken and enjoying the cozy day we’ve had as our little family. It’s a great way to spend the day before my favorite holiday – low key and relaxing and reminding me of all that I have to be thankful for.

How did you spend the day before Thanksgiving?
