Friendsgiving

Today was spent cleaning & cooking in preparation to attend a Friendsgiving celebration.

I made homemade cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole & pumpkin cake, while William made his corn & rice casserole. There was SO MUCH food and everything people brought was delicious – it was fun to taste everyone’s favorite Thanksgiving dishes and traditions. It was also fun to start a new tradition of supper with friends to celebrate when we’re all so far from family.

It was the first time we’ve seen most of these friends since our wedding and we met some new friends too.

I’m so glad to have two more days this weekend before work begins again on Monday.

What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish?
