Literary Gift Guide

I adore books and the characters within them. I love even more when I find things that capture my love for books by other people – its like finding kindred spirits and new friends at every turn. One of my big loves is the podcast, What Should I Read Next?, by Anne Bogel. I just love hearing people talk about books they love or hate and why; knowing what connected someone to a story. It’s like getting a peak at someone’s soul on a much deeper level than you can get to through other conversational topics. All of this to say, I thought it would be fun to share some gift ideas for the people in your life who also love whimsy and hold books dear to their heart.

The first three pieces are from the Etsy store, Carrot Top Paper Shop, that I discovered through an episode of WSIRN. She has wonderful quotes from literature, bookmarks, cards, and images of different literary heroines like Anne Shirley, Hermione Granger, Scout Finch and Laura Ingalls Wilder. Her shop is adorable and I’m so glad I found it!

These earrings express my life motto from the shop, Favoring Brave.

This next set is full of Sherlock Holmes inspired items that I bet my husband would enjoy. A glass for his bourbon & sprite, wooden cufflinks, and a fancy bookmark.

How fun is this wallet that looks like a miniature book?

I an Etsy shop callled HearthandHammer with literary inspired scents like Aged Page, Cafe Au Library, Long Winter’s Nap and Walden Woods.

What fun literary inspired gifts have you found?
