Do you use the star rating system?

I do! It helps me keep track of what I liked so I can offer solid recommendations to people in the future.

Are you doing a 2018 reading challenge?

Yes! I challenged myself to read 75 books this year and have read 39 so far.

Do you have a wish list?

Yes! As a book lover I always have a wish list going.

What book do you plan to buy next?

I want to get the illustrated editions of the Harry Potter series. They’re so beautiful!

Do you have any favorite quotes? share a few.

Yes; they’re all from A River Runs Through It which is a favorite book from junior year of high school that I’ve reread multiple times and continue to love. Other quotable books I love are the Harry Potter series.

“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
I am haunted by waters.” – A River Runs Through It
“In our family, there was no clear line between religion and fly fishing. We lived at the junction of great trout rivers in western Montana, and our father was a Presbyterian minister and a fly fisherman who tied his own flies and taught others. He told us about Christ’s disciples being fishermen, and we were left to assume, as my brother and I did, that all first-class fishermen on the Sea of Galilee were fly fishermen ad the John, the favorite, was a dry-fly fisherman.” – A River Runs Through It
“At sunrise everything is luminous but not clear. It is those we live with and love and should know who elude us. You can love completely without completely understanding.” – A River Runs Through It
“At the time I did not know that stories of life are often more like rivers than books.” – A River Runs Through It
“The world is full of bastards, the number increasing rapidly the further one gets from Missoula, Montana.” – A River Runs Through It
Who are your favorite authors?

I enjoy Lauren Weisberger and her snark. I enjoy the humor and heart in Melanie Shankle and Jen Hatmaker’s writing. I have enjoyed several authors who have multiple works, but I’ve only read one of their books, so I can’t claim them as favorites yet.

How many shelves do you have?

Four. Read, Currently Reading, To Read and NetGalley, where I keep track of which books I’ve gotten to review.
